Absentee Ballots

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5:00 pm the Thursday before the election, but we recommend making your request as early as possible so there is adequate time to mail the ballot back to the Clerk's Office.

From the Madison City Clerk's Office:

Registration is open until 5:00 pm 20 days before an election. Wisconsin requires 28 days to establish residency at a new address. Temporary absence does not affect residency. Time spent away from your residence still counts toward the 28 day residency requirement as long as you intend to return. When registering, you must present Proof of Residence, a document showing your current name at your current address. You cannot register to vote at a post office box.

Rebecca is running to build strong neighborhoods and to create an accessible, democratic government that works for all of Madison. But she needs your support!  There are many ways to support Rebecca as she runs for re-election in 2021.

We have many opportunities, from hosting a yard sign or a Zoom Meeting with friends and family, to endorsing Rebecca through your Social Media accounts.  We look forward to hearing from you!
